Tekno Team Driver Spotlight: Joey Bourdon

TH: How old are you and where are you from?
JB: I am 14 years old and I am from North Canton, Ohio

TH: Favorite Class at the races?
JB: My favorite class to race is 8th scale nitro buggy. I’m in love with the new nitro buggy from Tekno and it is really helping me develop as a driver all around.

TH: Best moment with the Tekno Team?
JB: My favorite moment with the Tekno team was the 2020 Dirt Nitro Challenge, overall it was a great experience and I learned so much from the team.

TH: What are your racing goals for 2020?
JB: My goals are to improve on the track and improve my wrenching skills off the track. I also hope to make the A mains in the pro classes at my upcoming big races such as PNB and Wicked Weekend.

TH: Favorite Tekno Upgrade Part?
JB: I love the 15° caster blocks because they offer so much steering to the car on high grip tracks and they really compliment my driving style.

TH: Event you look forward to the most in the next year?
JB: I am really looking forward to Fuel Nationals at LCRC this year, I hope to improve on my results from Texas Nationals and I can’t wait to race on a track that I am very familiar with.

TH: Anyone you would like to thank?
JB: I would like to thank the Tekno team for all the support over my 3 years on the team, as well as my parents and my other sponsors for the support they give me each and every weekend on and off the track!
