Watch and Listen: We Drive the Traxxas Slash with On-Board Audio

We were the first to bring you news of Traxxas’ new On-Board Audio system, and now we’re the first to drive it. Watch the video below to see and hear the truck in action. All the audio is “live,” nothing was dubbed in later–and it sounds even better in person!

Traxxas has tweaked the suspension settings to compensate for the additional weight of the speakers in the body, so the truck handles like a non-audio Titan 550-powered Slash. The On-Board Audio gear is also waterproof and can take the abuse that usually comes with Slash-action, so you can still get into all the Slash shenanigans you’re used to–but now you can do it with real engine sound.
