Vaterra Announces New Raptor 4WD Short-Course Truck

Vaterra has joined the short-course scene with the new Ford Raptor Pre-Runner, a 4WD truck based on the Halix platform as featured in our January issue. The new truck also includes the Active Vehicle Control system that debuted with the Halix and Losi TEN Rally-X, which should make the Raptor an especially interesting SC truck. As for features, the truck is spec’d out much like the Halix, with a Fuse brushless power system, Spektrum DX2E radio gear, plastic-body shocks, and telescoping driveshafts with CV-style joints. Waterproof electronics are standard too, with plenty of water shots to prove it on the Raptor page at the Vaterra site.
