Vantage Racings new graphite Fuel Tank Shield for the HPI Savage X (and original Savage 21, 25 & SS) is not only cool looking, its functional too. The fuel tank shield protects the fuel tank from side impact damage and it has a handy fuel gauge that lets you know how much fuel is in the tank. The X pattern cut out on the front of the shield also lets you see though it so you can see exactly how much fuel is in the tank from a distance. The shield only weighs 15 grams, so it doesnt add much weight to the chassis.
