Trevor “Chilly” Duncan takes the win with the new 2.2 Truck Flip Outs

I picked up a pair of 2.2″ Flip Outs to test out in the competitive Super Stock Stadium Truck class. With the current track layout Double Dees are the tire of choice and I wanted to see how these would work. For the 1st round of qualifying the track was a little loose but I was able to secure the 2nd spot overall. Before round 2 started the track was watered and swept and I was able to put down a TQ run. In the A Main I stayed out ahead of the pack and fought off a late surge to take the win. I was the only one to cross the line before time expired to gain a bonus lap and also had the fastest lap during that A Main.

In the Super Stock Buggy class I qualified 5th overall and at the start of the A Main I found myself in 3rd place. I was able to work my way up into the lead and hold on for the A Main win.

In the Modified Short Course Truck class we ran a hybrid A Main that featured both 4WD and 2WD trucks racing together so 2 wins were up for grabs, one for 4WD and one for 2WD. JConcepts driver David Bradford set the overall TQ with his newly acquired Jammin SCRT10 and finished 1st in the A Main to take the win for 4WD trucks. I finished 2nd right behind him, and was the 1st 2WD truck to finish thus earning the A Main win for 2WD trucks.
