Traxxas Returns as Official Series Partner for TORC 2014 Season
TORC: The Off-Road Championship, the nation’s premiere short- course, off-road racing series, has announced that the leading radio-controlled vehicle manufacturer Traxxas is returning as an Official Series Partner for the 2014 TORC season.

“Traxxas has a special passion for TORC,” says Loren Snyder, Director Special Operations. “Short-course racing has inspired a generation of innovation and fun new products for Traxxas and our close connection with the fans is something that can’t be duplicated anywhere else. We are pleased and excited to continue our investment in TORC as Official Series Sponsor. TORC is energized with new energy, new venues, and as always the most intense short-course off road racing action. We are looking forward to the positive exposure TORC brings to Traxxas and the fun new radio controlled vehicles the racing inspires.”

As an Official Series Partner, Traxxas will garner significant brand visibility through media exposure including television, radio, print, digital and social media. The company will also take their commitment to the track once more as a sponsor of Jenkins Brothers Racing including Traxxas CEO Mike Jenkins (PRO 4 and PRO 2) and his brother Mark (PRO 4). The brothers finished a tight 5th and 6th place in PRO 4 last season, with Mike also taking 5th in PRO 2.

“We’ve seen mass numbers of radio control enthusiasts around the country attend TORC Series events to experience what the full-scale Traxxas-sponsored trucks can do out on the track,” said TORC President BJ Birtwell. “It’s the natural connection between Traxxas products and TORC racing that drives further consideration and sales for the Traxxas brand. We’re very excited to welcome Traxxas back to the TORC Series and look forward to seeing their success both on and off the track.”
