The Dirt Racing’s Joey Christensen Rebuilds Silver Dollar R/C Raceway

A Main Hobbies posted this video of Joey Christensen, the man behind The Dirt Racing and the largest nitro off-road race of the year, The Dirt Nitro Challenge, rebuilding their Silver Dollar R/C Raceway. With new dirt added to the facility, which was built last year and will host the 2013 ROAR Electric Off-Road Nationals, 2013 IFMAR Electric Off-Road World Championships, and a slew of regional events, Joey was tasked to put together a layout that could incorporate appropriate obstacles for both 1/8-scale nitro vehicles as well as the smaller 1/10-scale machines. Here are Joey’s thoughts on the facility and the challenge ahead of him!
