Opening Ceremonies at the 2016 IFMAR 1/8 Nitro Championships [Photo Gallery]

Practice is over and the Opening Ceremonies announced the beginning of the “real racing” with qualifying beginning Tuesday October 4 in the morning. The Opening Ceremonies bring together the best drivers in the world and others just happy to represent their country and be part of such a great International event. The United States has the most drivers attending, but there’s something special about seeing the underdog countries in attendance with their flag waving and smiles all around. It may have lacked some organization, but the spirit was all there. Check out some of it below.

Team Monaco has one driver in attendance, but that doesn’t deter him from getting in to the spirit.
