OFNA RTR NEXX 8T Nitro Truggy

16 February, 2012

This truggy takes things to the NEXX level with a Force .32 engine, 150cc fuel tank, 16mm shocks, and a direct sequence 2.4GHz radio system. Check out all the info in the press release below:

Truggy terror has been unleashed and it’s in the form of the NEXX 8T RTR with hulk attitude. Mean with high performance and dirt spitting action. Take on terrible terrain, and feel the power and speed of the Force .32 engine on the open road. With its massive tires you can jump it sky high. Fast action absorbing shocks along with the great suspension with long travel action give this RTR Pro performance. A wide stance for superb stability and cornering gives you the extra edge you need and the new aggressive styled body has that awesome brute look. All in all this is what truggies are all about.

The steering gives optimum response from left to right as it is locked in with T-bolt pins and an aluminum steering knuckle.

The Force .32 engine is our biggest powerhouse to date with tons of torque. There’s no problem getting NEXX 8T going from a dead stop. This is what truggy terror was meant to be.

The 150cc fuel tank is easy to remove for cleaning. It has integrated fuel line clips for easy routing. This also prevents the lines from bouncing around and getting cut or burned.

This polished pipe helps the .32 engine produce power and gives a robust sound.

The long arms have tons of travel and to make that travel cushioned, 16mm shocks are bolted on to handle the dampening. A sway bar is also added to help the corner speed. Inside the gearbox is spiral cut gearing to deliver the power with efficiency. There are so many adjustments to tweak your setup from the shock towers, arms, uprights and camberlinks.

Universals and spiral cut gears give the front it’s power, with more 16mm shocks to take the grunt of the long front suspension. A solid front bumper keeps the chassis from sticking into the ground. More adjustments are available on the front to tune in what you need to make the corner speed of the NEXX 8T faster.

NEXX 8T has a bright fluorescent yellow high impact wing that keeps the power down to the rear wheels to maintain traction and helps stability while in the air.

Black aluminum is the backbone of the radio tray as the throttle servo pivots the throttle and brake linkages. Front and rear brakes are controlled separately to adjust the right amount of brake bias. Steering servo is laid down to further support the tray and make a strong backbone to the chassis.

Also comes with a direct sequence 2.4GHz radio system.
