Make-It Monday: Easy DIY Tool Stand

19 August, 2013

A few holes drilled in a piece of 2X4 are all you need to make a quick-and-dirty stand for your hex drivers and screw drivers, but if you want something a little more polished, a rig like this is easy to make. Three scraps of 5/8″ medium-density fiberboard (MDF) left over from a home project make up the base, and the holes are countersunk so it’s easier to slip the drivers in and out. Screws with fuel-tubing pads hold the pliers handles-up for easy grabbing.
