Hyper Drift Night Competition – Friday, July 15th

The Hyper Drift crew is hosting a competition this Friday, July 15th! If you’re in the San Francisco Bay Area, stop by and check it out.

Date: July 15th, 2011
Time: Practice starts @ 6pm, Comp starts @ 8pm
Location: McCarthy Ranch Shopping Center, Milpitas, CA (off 880 & 237 on the San Jose/Milpitas border)
Fees: Pre-Reg $10 Novice (Single Elimination), $15 Expert (Double Elimination), $20 for both classes.  Pre-registration recommended.
Prizes: Awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places

Rules & Regulations
Novice: Run what you bring, but if you are sandbagging you will be disqualified.
Expert: Tire spec is HPI T-Drift (“fake” T-Drift is ok) or Tamiya Superdriftech. Other tires maybe permitted, but will need to approved by Tech.

– Passing is allowed in Expert Class only. No passing in Novice Class unless the leader crashes out.
– No reduction of speed during transitions; no speed or brake checks.
– 1/10th scale bodies are required.
