Clutch:

As a last line of defense against troublesome engines, always maintain your vehicles clutch system.  Even when all of the above items check out, a broken or worn-out clutch shoes, gritty clutch bearings and grease inside the clutch bell.  In general, if you remove the clutch bell and it looks like a bomb went off, you’re well past due for maintenance.
