This past weekend Traxxas sponsored driver Courtney Force competed at the 28th annual Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway in Reading, PA. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to show her support Courtney competed in a special pink Traxxas Funny Car Ford Mustang. To help commemorate the event, Traxxas called upon frequent RC Car Action paint contributor Bill Zegers to spray this one of a kind 1/8 Traxxas funny car body so they could present it to Courtney. Lionel is even selling a special edition die-cast collectable of Courtney’s pink Mustang.
The event was hampered with rain showers which put a halt to eliminations, so the NHRA announced that eliminations will resume with the final pair of Top Fuel dragsters in the second round today.
