Axial SCX10-based CJ Willys Crawler by Warren Fisher [Readers Ride]

Warren Fisher documents this impressive Jeep project on the Scale Builders Guide forum, giving us all a great look into what went into this amazing build. Starting with an Axial SCX10 1.9, he added a host of custom details, including scratchbuilt body panels and handmade safety harnesses for the driver figure. There is a custom-built mock hydraulic steering setup complete with faux hoses. A TZI Beefy winch resides up-front too, as does a Hitec HS-7954SH steering servo. For scale authenticity, Currie axles front and rear hold Falken tires. Power comes from a Team Novak Ballistic Brushless 13.5 Crawler motor and Timbuk2 controller running a 3S LiPo battery. Be sure to check out the step-by-step build and tons of extra photos on the forum.
