Along with scale appeal, Axial’s wheel-well kit adds protection for your electronics by keeping mud and water from splashing up into the chassis. The wells have a realistic textured finish and are molded in clear Lexan so you can paint them black like you see on full-size trucks, match to body color, or whatever you like. Install is easy with included double-sided tape. I’m looking forward to adding these to a few builds.

The SCX10 Wheel Wells give your rig the final missing elements: the full body look and under carriage protection. This clear polycarbonate plastic piece provides enough pre-shaped material to make four wheel wells and two floor board panels, giving your SCX10 the factory look while aiding in the protection from the elements as it provides a barrier to mud, water and debris from flinging off the wheels and onto the motor and electronics. The Wheel Well kit comes clear so you can either give your rig the factory black underbody look or the full frame-off custom restoration look by painting the underbody to match the body color.
