They’re packed with old tech as far as their electronics go, and you can now go 100mph with an RTR, but these Insane Speed Run cars from 1997 are still fascinating. Keep in mind, these machines had to handle the banked turns of LA’s Olympic Velodrome at speed, not merely hold together for a straight-line run.
