JConcepts – Monster Truck 2.2″ Tote Wheels From Shapeways
JConcepts now offers the 3D print option Tote wheels for Monster Truck displays and storage. The tote wheels resemble the wheels the full-size monster trucks use for traveling to and from events. The combined group of wheels includes 4 pieces of sized wheels to accept (not included) 2.2″ buggy type front tires.
To finish an assembly, it is necessary to have the JConcepts 12mm wheel hex adaptors in 18mm offset as included with the 3377 Tribute wheel package and 24 pieces of 2.5x12mm screws which are not included in this purchase. Since the Tribute wheels package comes with additional planetary covers, they can be used on the Tote wheels to further enhance the looks.
The recommended 2.2″ tire by JConcepts is the Diamond Bars (#3116-08) in Red compound. The tires can be purchased directly from jconcepts.net or any hobby dealer which carries the brand.
